Confirmation

Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation that strengthens the grace of Baptism and equips the candidate with the power of the Holy Spirit to live out his/her personal mission for the kingdom of God. It involves a Renewal of Baptismal Promises, the Prayer for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and Anointing with Sacred Chrism.

At our parish, the Bishop administers Confirmation in the fall for those of the ordinary age (9th graders) and anyone older than the ordinary age who has not received it. If your child is of the ordinary age for Confirmation, please visit our Confirmation Prep page.
