Zoom: 7-8:30PMSt. Ignatius of Loyola was a student of human nature, a spiritual master, and a skillful decision maker. His insights and teachings are known as Ignatian Spirituality.
Praying with Scripture the Ignatian Way explores the teachings of St. Ignatius. Each session includes an introduction to a teaching followed by personal, prayerful reflection on Holy Scripture, Sacred Art, Sacred Music and/or Sacred Poetry, which demonstrates that teaching. Participants have the opportunity to share their experience of prayer.
Each session stands on its own. There is no need to attend all sessions, and there is no preparation necessary. The theme during the 2026/2027 season will be Praying with Scripture and Van Gogh. Each session will include a reflection on Holy Scripture illuminated by a Van Gogh painting.

Ignatian Advent and Lent RetreatsIgnatian retreats are held from 9AM-3PM on a Saturday. They include an introduction to praying with Scripture using Imaginative Contemplation, Lectio Divina and Visio Divina; and personal, prayerful reflection on Holy Scripture appropriate to the theme of the Retreat. Participants have the opportunity to share their experience of prayer.
The theme of the 2026 Advent Retreat is “Nothing is Impossible for God”- Reflections on the Faith and Friendship of Mary and Elizabeth. The theme of the 2027 Lent Retreat is “Your Will Be Done”- Reflection on What Jesus Teaches Us About Holy Discernment.
