Hallow Pre-Advent Mission
Prepare for the Advent Season with three nights of inspiring talks from our partners at the Hallow App. Nick De La Torre is a classically trained vocalis who spent much of his youth aspiring to become an opera singer. That is, until he encountered the Lord. Nick gave up the career he had been working towards to become a Youth Minister, then church Music Director, then Pastoral Associate, then Director of Marriage and Family Life ministries for the Diocese of Toledo. Nick has served as musician and speaker for Dynamic Catholic, Renewal Ministries, Extraordinary Mission, Life Teen, and Hallow mission retreats, conferences and events. He is now the President of Awaken Catholic, whose mission is to awaken hearts and minds to the beauty, truth, healing, and power found in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Currently, Nick hosts “The Awaken Catholic Show,” and “The Nick De La Torre Show.” Nick and his wife, Alina, compose and produce music. Their most important and beautiful creations, though, are their four amazing children. Nick serves on the Hallow Events Team as a Mission Speaker and is passionate about Hallow's mission of building a culture of prayer through parish communities. When: November 17-19
