Unpacking the Word

Throughout life's difficulties, the Lord is faithful, and so we must be faithful as well.

The Spirit is calling to our attention that we must not be complacent in the face of evil, of the mistreatment of our fellow man who is created in the image of God and for whom God became man and died on a cross to redeem.

External observance of religious rituals is not what the Lord is after. He wants our hearts.

"And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." John 3:14-15
